Karen's Review Of This Property:
The setting of the Hotel Bellevue is stunning—it’s nestled on a gorgeous meadow enclosed by Italy’s highest mountains. Paths from the hotel lead across the lush meadow to the Grand Paradis National Park, a heavenly place to enjoy nature. From the outside, this hotel looks like many others that you encounter in mountain resorts—an attractive, well-maintained building with balconies and window boxes. However, from the moment you step inside, it becomes instantly apparent that this is a very, very special inn. It absolutely oozes charm and although the façade is not old, the interior certainly is. Parts of centuries-old farmhouses and regional artifacts have been cleverly incorporated into the enchanting interior, including mellow paneling, intricate beamed ceilings, carved doors, lovely fireplaces, planked-wood floors, antique light fixtures, and wrought-iron ornaments. All of the furnishings are either family heirlooms or 15th- to 17th-century antiques that came from farmhouses in the Valle d’Aosta. Every room is absolutely picture perfect. Every tiny detail throughout shows love, and the quality is superb. Boundless amenities include 3 restaurants, an indoor pool, saunas, and Turkish baths. The Jeantet-Roullet family’s genuine warmth and tender care of guests adds the final touch of perfection.
