Karen's Review Of This Property:

On the next bay down the coast from the Cliffs of Moher Moy House, a lovely hotel caressed by wispy breezes rising off the sea, has waves lapping at the bottom of the garden. Built as a stylish holiday home in the early 1800s, the property has undergone a complete transformation with all but three bedrooms having superb sea views—several have window seats in the bedroom and the bathroom. Relax with a drink from the honesty bar in the chic drawing room and contemplate the delectable offerings on the menu before going down the narrow spiral staircase to the conservatory dining room. Locally produced produce enhances the dining experience. Downstairs bedrooms Kilmaheen and Kilfarboy are particularly spacious and have large bathrooms, with separate bathtubs and showers. Upstairs, Moymore is a favorite with lots of room and a window seat in its bay window. For the most spectacular view, clamber up the narrow stairs that take you to the top of the tower. At low tide wander along the quiet beach and round the headland to the bustling little holiday town of Lahinch. While golfers head for the popular Lahinch golf course, sightseers drive along the coast. Visit the Cliffs of Moher and The Burren.

Directions: From Ennis take the N85 through Ennistymon to Lahinch. Go up the main street and take the first left, then turn left again following signposts for Miltown Malbay. After 2 km the entrance to Moy House is on the right.
