The Old Presbytery Sketch

Karen's Review Of This Property:

Beyond the yacht-filled harbor, the narrow streets of Kinsale terrace upwards to high ground. Here you find The Old Presbytery, the home of Noreen and Philip McEvoy who offer a choice of bed and breakfast or self-catering accommodation. The three-bedroom, three-bathroom self-catering apartments offer a sitting room with cheery gas fire in an antique grate, an extra bed that can be pulled down from a wall cupboard, and a kitchenette equipped with light cooking facilities. The Penthouse has a narrow circular staircase going from the living room to the bedrooms where you have views across the rooftops to the harbor (an excellent choice for a party of four). Bed and breakfast guests can choose accommodation that ranges in size from cozy to spacious (a family room with a double and two single beds), with all rooms found up a narrow staircase—leave your large cases in the car. Philip, who used to be a seafood chef, now concentrates his culinary efforts on breakfast, offering everything from traditional Irish fare to crepes filled with fruit in the breakfast room, where an antique Irish pine credenza takes pride of place.
