Karen's Review Of This Property:

Laura and Andrew Corcoran have given a new lease of life to this grandiose Victorian edifice overlooking the harbor in Kinsale. Previous owners have all implemented their particular visions of grandeur and it is a tribute to the Corcorans’ skills that they have consolidated all of the previous changes into a unified whole. A perky fire radiates a welcome in the vast reception hall (plenty of room for all guests to arrive at once) and the sitting and drawing rooms are large enough to provide a seating spot for every guest. Non-public rooms, however, are of more normal proportions. Bedrooms come in all shapes and sizes, from spacious junior suites to snug double rooms. All are attractively decorated in a traditional vein and priced according to their location—how wonderful if they all had harbor views! No matter—you step out the front door onto the harbor and into the heart of this lively town. Our favorite rooms are the four most luxurious tower suites—try to snag room 33 which has French doors opening to its own private courtyard. A buffet breakfast is included in the tariff and there is no shortage of restaurants nearby for dinner.
