Karen's Review Of This Property:

Walk through the front door and you realize the pink façade of the 100 year old building is concealing something different. The lobby, white paneled ceiling, black marble floor, brushed stainless steel trim and luminescent green lighting speaks of a contemporary style more usually found in the chic townhouse hotels of Dublin or Belfast. Inside the trend continues, pink lighting illuminates the dark corridors leading to the guest rooms where muted earth tones are offset with brilliant splashes of color. Modern furnishings, plush bedding and immaculate marble and white bathrooms provide all the creature comforts demanded by today’s traveler. All rooms have views across the town or the churchyard. The Lanes cafe bar with its large flat screen TV’s is open to the public, a great place to rub shoulders with the locals. A sweeping polished wood and glass staircase leads down to the dining room, “Cellar One”. Exposed limestone walls, innovative lighting, wine racks on the wall, and the signature brilliant pink and green upholstery. The shops and restaurants of Killarney are on your doorstep. It’s a short walk to Ross Castle or you can take a jaunting car from in front of the hotel.
