Karen's Review Of This Property:
Killarney is a pleasant town, best to explore after the crowds of daytime visitors have departed. Staying at Earls Court gives you the opportunity to go sightseeing out of town during the day, return in the evening for a cup of tea, and then walk into town for dinner. Emer and Ray built the property and while the exterior is modern, the inside is more traditional, for Emer is a great collector of English and Irish antiques. Guests sign in at reception adjacent to a writing desk once owned by President Cearbhaill O’Dalaigh. Several of the delightful bedrooms have balconies with views of the distant mountains across the trees. Larger rooms have the advantage of spacious sitting areas, king-sized beds and larger bathrooms with a tub and a walk in shower. There’s a fully equipped handicap room on the third floor. All bedrooms have delightful antique furniture, (several are four-poster and one an exquisite brass bed), excellent bathrooms with power showers, satellite TV, and phones. Several also have an extra single bed and two bedrooms have an interconnecting door, making them ideal for families. Golfers are spoiled for choice, with Killarney, Waterville, Dooks, Tralee, and Ballybunion the most popular courses, and there’s a golf room for clubs.
