Karen's Review Of This Property:

The setting for Cashel House is spectacular: at the head of Cashel Bay with Cashel Hill standing guard behind, a solid white house nestles amongst acres and acres of woodland and gardens of exotic flowering shrubs. Kilometers of garden footpaths are yours to wander along, and the beautiful seashore is yours to explore. This is not the kind of hotel to spend just a night in—once you have settled into your lovely room and sampled the exquisite food in the splendid conservatory dining room, you will be glad that you have made Cashel House the base for your Connemara explorations. Graceful antiques, turf fires, and lovely arrangements of freshly picked flowers create a warm, country-house welcome. It feels particularly decadent to have breakfast served to you in bed on a prettily decorated tray. All the bedrooms are beautifully furnished and decorated, each accompanied by a sparkling bathroom. Thirteen exquisite suites occupy a wing and enjoy comfortable sitting areas overlooking the garden. Keen tennis players can enjoy the court bordering the bay. Be sure to visit the horses in the stables behind the hotel. The McEvillys can arrange for a car and driver to meet you at Galway airport. Day trips with a car and driver can also be arranged. Just down the road a small two bedroom cottage, with bay views, is let on a weekly basis.
