Karen's Review Of This Property:
The Brauerei-Gasthof-Hotel Aying is a famous brewery, restaurant, and hotel, all rolled into one wonderful Bavarian package. Aying is a delightful pastoral village to the south of Munich and has the advantage of being on the S-Bahn, so a half-hour train journey finds you at the Marienplatz in the heart of historic Munich. You can sightsee to your heart’s content and return to the peace and quiet of the countryside in the evening. The hotel’s ivy-covered façade is easily spotted thanks to a giant, blue-striped maypole marking the entrance. Franz Inselkammer is the sixth generation of his family to be Aying’s brewer and after you have toured his brewery you can enjoy a delicious candlelit dinner with a menu offering lots of scrumptious Bavarian specialties and, of course, all varieties of the famous Ayinger beer. If you prefer more casual fare and a little nightlife, then step across the square to the traditional beer garden where in fine weather you can dine on the tree-lined patio. The delightful bedrooms, which come in all shapes and sizes, are decorated in the lovliest traditional Bavarian style and each is accompanied by a state-of-the-art bath or shower room.
