Karen's Review Of This Property:
I felt privileged to be present a few years ago to share the excitement and news with the Rademacher family when they had just closed the deal on a gorgeous home with plans to turn it into a second wonderful hotel. They even shared with me their decision on a name for this beautiful three-story, stately home set behind handsome gates and surrounded by its own expanse of garden—the Hotel Belle Epoque. The name seems appropriate as the building and its residential setting typify the glory and beauty of the 19th century. The Belle Epoque is conveniently set just around the corner from its sister hotel, Der Kleine Prinz. Frau Rademacher has cleverly decorated each guestroom with antiques and a theme of the different time periods of the Belle Epoque, i.e., Empire, Art Nouveau, Biedermeier, Louis XVI, but all are equipped for the new millennium in terms of modern comfort and luxury. Although the hotel has no restaurant, it is an easy stroll to Der Kleine Prinz which has a wonderful restaurant and bar. The hotel does offer a full breakfast buffet and room service, as well as complimentary high tea in the afternoon. We have enjoyed being able to recommend the Rademachers’ Der Kleine Prinz and it is without hesitation that I recommend the Belle Epoque.
