Karen's Review Of This Property:

La Ferme d’Augustin is tucked into the rolling, tree-studded hills between the colorful old port of Saint Tropez and Ramatuelle, a romantic medieval hilltown. The owners carefully preserved its rustic ambiance when they renovated this lovely old farm and converted it into a hotel. The guestrooms are clustered about the property in various farmhouses connected by fragrant, flower-lined paths. Ivy, wisteria, and climbing roses soften the exterior of the typical stone buildings with heavy, red-tiled roofs that dot the parklike grounds. The first building you encounter houses the reception area, lounges, and dining room. The lounges are attractively decorated with yellow slipcovered chairs and sofas, a few accents of antique furniture, and bouquets of fresh flowers. Just off the main lounge is a cozy nook whose focus is a fireplace flanked by benches softened with red-and-yellow provincial-print cushions. The dining room is in a glass-enclosed veranda overlooking the forest. There is a large swimming pool snuggled on a terrace shaded by a towering row of cypress trees and brightened by beds of colorful flowers.

Directions: In Saint Tropez, follow signs first to the center of town, then Parking des Lices, and then Route de Tahiti. The hotel is on Route de Tahiti, a dead-end road that ends at Tahiti Beach.
