Karen's Review Of This Property:

Perched on a hill in the middle of a lovely valley in Provence is the charming medieval village of Crillon le Brave—truly one of France’s jewels. It is comprised of only a cluster of weathered stone houses and a picturesque church. Just below the church, terraced down the hillside, is the deluxe Hotel Crillon le Brave. This small hotel exudes an aura of elegance, yet there is nothing stuffy or intimidating about staying here. The well-trained staff is friendly and the ambiance delightful. Restoration has been accomplished beautifully, maintaining all the wonderful wood and stone textures. Fine country antiques are used throughout. The guestrooms are decorated in the same style and most have magnificent views of the countryside. The hillside location lends itself well to romance. The dining room is located in a medieval-looking, vaulted-ceilinged room with a massive fireplace, which opens onto a splendid terrace where meals are usually served. An intimate bistro, with its terrace, is open for lunch until 4pm. From the terrace, a path leads down to a lower garden where a spectacular new swimming pool invites you to linger on comfortable lounge chairs and soak in the view.
