Karen's Review Of This Property:

For more than twenty years Marie-Christine and Claude Combes have welcomed guests as friends to their family home, the Château de Garrevaques, recommended in our guide to French bed & breakfasts. One of our favorite properties to recommend because the welcome is so genuine, the accommodation regal and the history of their home that has passed down for seventeen generations is so incredible, we are thrilled to now introduce Le Pavillon du Château. Sharing the park of five hectares, Le Pavillon offers luxurious accommodation in what were the stables that serviced the château. Fifteen beautiful suites enjoy modern appointments, lavish bathrooms and are intimately decorated with family furnishings. The ambiance is grand with a lovely large atrium, living room, salon and guests have the choice of two restaurants. Le Grenier du Pastel spills over onto the garden terrace and offers a lighter fare and more casual service, while La Cave, as the name implies is embraced by the stone walls of the cellar and offers a menu of fine, regional cuisine. Tennis courts, a large pool set out in the open fields and a full service spa give guests every excuse to linger, although the location is also ideal for visiting Toulouse, Albi and the walled city of Carcassonne.
