Karen's Review Of This Property:

La Chapelle Saint Martin is a small gray-washed manor resting on a velvet green lawn. Although there is very little exterior ornamentation (even the shutters are painted to blend with the façade), the interior decor is very ornate and detailed. Colorfully patterned wallpapers, complementing carpets, paintings hung in heavy gilt frames, lavish chandeliers, tapestries, and miniature statues decorate the rooms of the hotel. Known for its restaurant, La Chapelle Saint Martin serves meals in three elegant, small dining rooms. The setting and service are formal, with lovely porcelain, crystal, china, and silver used to enhance the presentation of owner, Chef Gilles Dudognon’s masterful creations. La Chapelle Saint Martin is only a few minutes from Limoges, a city famous for its porcelain. Although many guests venture from Limoges for dinner, the manor does have rooms to accommodate overnight guests. The bedrooms are decorated with the same flavor as the restaurant and public rooms. Very spacious, the bedrooms all have private baths and look out onto the hotel gardens and greenery. The surrounding farmland and two ponds complete the storybook atmosphere of La Chapelle Saint Martin.
