Karen's Review Of This Property:
Chambolle-Musigny is a delightful village nestled amongst the vineyards in the heart of the Burgundy wine region. On one of the village’s narrow streets, secluded behind a high wall, lies the Château-Hôtel André Ziltener, one of the region’s most elegant properties (and a personal favorite) which was originally built as a hunting lodge for the Burgundy Parliment. Guests can relax in the grand drawing room where tall French windows look out to the garden. Breakfast is offered around the oval table in the dining room or at courtyard tables. For evening meals guests enjoy the atmosphere of the lovely wine bar where they can sample specialties and wines of the region. The bedrooms, whether designated as standard, junior suite, or apartment, are gorgeous in their decor and are furnished in an open and spacious manner, and have splendid marble bathrooms with every luxurious amenity. Although, it is hard to select a favorite, especially enchanting is Les Amoureuses, a gorgeous apartment decorated in soft yellow. I was impressed by the subtle elegance of this lovely château and its beautiful surrounding gardens. Included in your hotel tariff is an informative guided tour of the wine museum in the château’s cellars and a sampling of the four grands crus of Chambolle.
