Karen's Review Of This Property:

I wanted to abort my travels, unpack bags, and settle in at the beautiful Château de Vault de Lugny. I arrived on a warm spring afternoon and the obvious contentment of guests who were relaxing at tables on the front lawn was enviable. Voices were subdued and did not break the lovely quiet of the setting—perhaps because the individual desires of each guest were well tended to. It was early afternoon, yet I noticed one guest lounging over a late breakfast, a few guests sleeping with books neglected on their laps, and a foursome playing a game of cards under the shade of a large central tree. The Château de Vault de Lugny is a handsome cream-stone building with white shuttered windows and weathered-tile roof secluded by a high wall, moat, and tall gates. There are 12 bedrooms in the château, all with lovely modern bathrooms. Lavish and regal in their decor, the larger rooms are very popular. The smaller standard rooms are also charming and a better value. Snacks are available at any hour, table d’hôte dinners are served at a handsome trestle table set before a massive open fireplace and a more traditional dining experience is also an option. An added bonus for guests is the chance to ride in a hot-air balloon.

The Chateau de Vault de Lugny is a magical place!!! Everything is so beautiful, it's like something out of a storybook. It's so fun watching the geese and peacocks strut around the property. The new pool area is gorgeous! Everyone on the staff is very kind... and the restaurant is top notch!! The whole area is just lovely!
