Karen's Review Of This Property:
Set on a headland, with garden paths weaving down to a small crescent of golden sand, this large lovely home, Ti Al-Lannec, was opened as a hotel in 1978 by Danielle and Gerard Jouanny. The Jouannys offer a warm welcome rarely found in hotels, so it feels more like staying with friends at the seaside than in a hotel. Each bedroom has a different pretty wallpaper with coordinating drapes and bedspread. Family accommodations have two bedrooms, one for parents and one with bunk beds for children. My favorites were those with salon en verandah meaning that each has a small sitting area with doors opening to a tiny balcony so that whatever the weather you can enjoy the fantastic view of sand, ocean, and rocky promontories. The large windows of the restaurant share the same glorious view. The sitting rooms have thoughtfully been equipped with jigsaw puzzles, books, and games to accommodate the interests of the guests and the unpredictable moods of the weather. In the basement is L’Espace Bleu Marine, a complete health center where you can pamper yourself with massages and wraps, work out in the gymnasium, and relax in the solarium, sauna, and large Jacuzzi set in a gazebo overlooking the beach. Children enjoy the outdoor play equipment and giant chess set.
