This pretty château-in-miniature enjoys an idyllic setting above the River Rance and looking out to sea. Your first impression of the home is of its gorgeous gardens and profusion of flowers lining the entry drive and it is not until you are actually inside the hotel that you can quite appreciate the spectacular setting and water views. This intimate, whitewashed, two-story manor with gray-slate roof and single distinctive turret is owned and run fastidiously by Madame Jasselin. Feminine touches abound, as does her attention to detail. The entry is very inviting with its family antiques—a gorgeous Breton grandfather clock, a handsome armoire, and a dramatic, enormous copper tub filled with silk flowers. Off the entry breakfast tables set in the conservatory take full advantage of the view of sea. The salon is a comfortable place to settle, with pretty fabrics framing large picture windows and games placed on tables for anyone to enjoy. There is also a small bar area set with leather chairs. In warm weather, guests enjoy both breakfast and afternoon tea at tables on the garden terrace. Guestrooms, all but two of which enjoy a glimpse of the water, vary from simple, basic accommodation to spectacular large rooms such as 1 and 5 with banks of window and unobstructed sea views.
