Karen's Review Of This Property:

The Château de Maulmont offers lovely accommodation inside a historic building, with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, established by the Bosman family. The red-and-gray-brick façade with steep gold and red turrets give the château a dramatic appearance. There are 19 guestrooms, standard ones being small but still very comfortable and charming in their limited decor. We stayed in the turret round in a “character” room with windows looking out to the park and a bathroom with a view of the terrace and countryside. To the right of the château’s entry is a lovely, intimate bar from which a stair winds down to a fitness room and enclosed pool, while off the bar is a gorgeous wood-paneled conference room with many stained-glassed windows. In the gastronomic restaurant, Le Maulmont, you can enjoy fine French cuisine. In the courtyard there is an aromatic herb garden used by the chef to flavor and decorate his dishes. The main dining room is very beautiful, with gorgeous wood paneling and fireplaces, and for a before-dinner drink you can settle into the bar.
