Karen's Review Of This Property:
Haterleigh Heritage Inn, on a quiet street just steps from downtown, is a meticulous restoration of beautiful Victorian mansion built in 1901. The home’s common rooms are particularly gorgeous: exquisite bay windows in leaded stained glass, beautiful moldings, and handsome chandeliers. You have your pick of seven guestrooms each decorated in Victorian style. While not the least bit overwrought, they are comfortably formal in tone. The fabrics, the wallpaper, the paint, the furniture—everything looks fresh from the shop. Rooms are bright and pleasant and vary in size to suit your needs. Tubs are stenciled and glazed by hand to match the wallpaper. Linens are top of the line. The stained-glass work you admire downstairs is found throughout the hallways and guestrooms as well, making for a very elegant touch. All rooms are uniquely decorated and most have Jacuzzi tubs. There are also two two-bedroom suites that can accommodate up to four persons. Afternoon sherry is served in the drawing room. The Haterleight Heritage is justifiably proud of their 5 star rating by Tourism British Columbia.
