Karen's Review Of This Property:
Constructed in the 1930s as a luxury apartment complex, Abigail’s Hotel is an excellent choice for its quality accommodations and convenient neighborhood location, a short drive from Victoria’s beautiful Inner Harbour. The exterior is quite beautiful, almost whimsically so, mixing Edwardian and Tudor influences. On the inside, you’ll find a charming blend of European and Arts and Crafts, all put together with tailored elegance. There are three levels in the main building, accessed by stairs, and two in a newer adjacent building, The Coach House. Rooms of varying sizes are available. Many rooms have wood burning fireplaces and Jacuzzi tubs. All rooms feature comfortable beds with luxurious linens, goose-down duvets, traditional marble bathrooms, televisions and air conditioning. A gourmet breakfast is available in any one of the several rooms downstairs; the sunny dining room, the library, or the patio in better weather. Appetizers are served every evening in the library to accompany the wine and beer you can purchase fron the honesty bar. Take time off from sightseeing to pamper yourself with a treatment in the spa. There’s a small shop next to the reception desk for incidentals like film, bottled water, and postcards. The staff is friendly, professional, and available 24 hours a day.
