Karen's Review Of This Property:
A little over an hour’s drive from Victoria, twenty minutes beyond the community of Sooke, guest accommodations at Point-No-Point date back to 1952 when they were only accessible by gravel road. Tucked into forty secluded, densely wooded acres between the highway and the ocean, the property was purchased by the current owners in 1983. Over the years they have renovated and modernized the existing buildings and subsequently added their own to develop a total of twenty-five immaculately appointed self-catering cabins, all with kitchens, wood-burning fireplaces, modern, efficient bathrooms and stunning ocean views. Some of the newer units include jetted bathtubs or outdoor hot tubs. Breakfast is not provided, but the restaurant is open for lunch and dinner Wednesday through Sunday. Things to do?...Turn off the alarm clock, forsake breakfast in favor of an invigorating walk along the nature trails that access nearly one mile of private shoreline. This will work up an appetite for an early brunch. Explore the red-painted wooden bridge to your own private “island.” Enjoy the sunset over a glass of wine from your hot tub or beside the fire pit in the beach house. Catalog the countless birds or commune with nature. Visit the local Provincial Parks. Relax, the choice is yours.
