Karen's Review Of This Property:

The Hotel Post has a prime location on the main street as you drive into the charming mountain village of Lech. It is only a short walk from the hotel to the gondola station, convenient in winter for skiing and in summer for a lift to the high mountain meadows for walking. It is not surprising that the location is so superb since this former post station was one of the town’s first hotels. It has expanded over the years, adding many modern-day improvements, but the cozy exterior has not changed: it looks the same as in the last century—a gaily painted building with green shutters and lacy stenciling adorning the plaster façade. In summer the hotel is even more enchanting, with red geraniums cascading from the windowboxes. Most of the buildings in Lech are of new construction, but the Hotel Post is one of the few remaining old buildings and it happily retains its old-world atmosphere inside with the use of wood paneling, country rustic-style furniture, pewter plates on the walls, hunting trophies, cozy fireplaces, and many pieces of antique furniture. The bedrooms vary in style but many maintain the rustic country feeling with new Alpine-style painted furniture and gay, provincial-print draperies. The gracious Moosbrugger family own and operate this historic hotel.
