It all began when a Viennese brewing entrepreneur, during the boom years of the mid 19th century, had his dream villa built in the Salzkammergut region of Upper Austria. Even today, guests of this estate owned by the Koller family – an estate which experienced the ups and downs of history spanning two world wars –still feel like they are being treated like royalty. Tasteful rooms and suites are a temptation for guests to stay on and enjoy the magnificent view.
