Innerhof
A Karen Brown Recommended Hotel / Inn
Owners: Penny & Luggi Mayrhofer |

Karen's Review Of This Property:
Luggi Mayrhofer grew up in this picture-postcard valley and after a career in Switzerland as a ski instructor returned here with his English wife Penny and their son, Sebastian. While Luggi can organize “off piste” skiing in the winter and guided walks in the summer, Penny offers guests a very warm and personal welcome to their charming chalet. This typically Tyrolean house consists of three apartments, with the Mayrhofers occupying the ground floor and guests the upper floors. Each attractive pine-paneled bedroom has its own bath/shower room and each floor has a spacious sitting room and kitchen. In winter the apartments are rented on a weekly basis half-board basis while in summer guests are offered self-catering or bed and breakfast options for any number of nights, which gives them freedom to come and go as they like. There are excellent cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Innerhof is a wonderful place to experience traditional Tyrolean Austria. If you want to venture beyond the valley, you have the Tyrolean farm museum at Kramsach, the glass factory in Rattenberg, the silver mines in Schwaz, and magnificent castles to explore.
