Karen's Review Of This Property:

The Parador de Nerja is a modern hotel perched at the edge of a 30-meter cliff overlooking the blue Mediterranean. As you first see it from the road, the hotel seems unexceptional, but as soon as the glass doors part to admit you to the lobby you will be thrilled. Before you lies a formal garden with flowerbeds and a fountain at its center, bounded by shady walkways and beyond a grand sweep of lawn dotted with interesting trees, bulbous roots stretching to the clifftop. Loungers are placed under the trees and umbrellas. The dining room has a wall of glass that captures the magnificent ocean view—a vista that is also enjoyed from the large shaded patio. All but six of the bedrooms have spectacular ocean views from their patios and balconies. There are two splendid suites and eleven junior suites with Jacuzzi tubs. Many of the rooms are large enough to accommodate an extra bed. It’s a perfect place to enjoy a beach holiday. Handily an elevator takes you down the cliff to a beautiful expanse of beach with ample bars, restaurants and boat rental facilities. Being less than an hours drive from Malaga airport it’s a handy first or last stop. You’ll be glad you stayed several days and if you simply must go sightseeing Granada is a mere hour and a half’s drive away.
