Port Angeles may not be a destination spot, but Colette’s surely is. It’s easily our top pick for the area. From the moment you walk into this exquisite inn, you’ll stop breathing until you’re reminded to exhale! Enter a gorgeous sitting room with a 40-foot wall of windows overlooking a wide expanse of lawn, wood, garden, and the vast Strait of Juan de Fuca. Handsome, comfortable, contemporary furniture around the fireplace includes a brown leather couch and sitting chairs in fabrics of sage. Even the common bathroom off the entryway is artwork, with richly painted burgundy walls and a slated floor. Notice the tiles on this floor, beautifully etched with animal images. On the stone patio, Adirondack chairs encircle an outdoor fireplace. Each bedroom is remarkable. As intimate as they are elegant, as luxurious as they are subtle, not one room in the place will do less than thrill. All promise a superb view, king-sized feather bed, gas fireplace, immaculate spa-like bathroom with two-person Jacuzzi tub, TV/DVD/CD player, and telephone. A gourmet breakfast is served with a view at two large, formal tables. From anywhere on the property, inside or out, enjoy spectacular sunsets that bring on the lights of Victoria from across the strait.

Colette’s is a gem, from the garden walks to the phenomenal breakfasts served by Cindy & Chip. Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We had views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and sat by the outdoor fire-pit and had beverages. The B&B attracts a great variety of guests and it seemed that everyone was interested in discussing their trips and other personal info. We would highly recommend a visit to Colette’s.

Colette’s B&B exceeded our expectations in every aspect. We were warmly greeted by Cindy and Chip the innkeepers who took time to explain the amazing qualities of this property to us. We were informed and given maps to the majestic Olympic Mountains, the nearby towns, lavender farms, wineries and restaurant recommendations.
