Tu Tu’ Tun Lodge

Tu Tu’ Tun is a delightful, small fishing lodge hugging the banks of the Rogue River, 7 miles from the coast. Although it is appealing at first glance, when you go inside you realize how truly special Tu Tu’ Tun Lodge is and why its rooms are booked solid all season. The heart of the inn includes a spacious lounge with a massive, stone fireplace and a wall of windows facing the river, an intimate bar, cozy library, and a nationally acclaimed, gourmet dining room. A separate two-story wing, joined by a walkway to the lounge-dining area, houses the guestrooms. All have tall windows overlooking the river and decks or patios with dramatic views. Many of the bedrooms have fireplaces and some even have outdoor soaking tubs. Throughout the lodge, the furnishings are of fine quality and the tasteful decor exudes a rustic, yet sophisticated, simplicity. Stretching across the entire side of the lodge, facing the intensely green water of the Rogue, is a large deck—a favorite place for guests to relax. Terraced below the deck is a swimming pool, and below that the lawn sweeps down to the banks of the river where there is a small boat pier from which guests leave each morning for fishing excursions or jet-boat trips up the Rogue.
