Grotli Høyfjellshotell

A mountain lodge was established in 1869 at Grotli by the government, and the first generation of “Grotli folk” came and settled permanently in the mountains. In 1905 the privately- owned hotel was opened, and you can experience the atmosphere from that era, with its timber walls and cosy log fires, to this day. We have retained the "Grotli style” throughout the hotel, along with tasty homemade food, and hope that you will enjoy your stay with us.

Grotli is ideally situated for excursions to many well-known tourist attractions, both to the east and to the west. The fifth generation of Grotli dwellers look forward to wishing you welcome to the highlands.
