Karen's Review Of This Property:

Perched on a hill with sweeping views of the valley below and the Green Mountains, the Inn at Ormsby Hill is a restored 1764 manor house listed on the Register of Historic Places. Attention to detail is everywhere, from the decor of the common rooms and the bedchambers, to the dining room where Chris is the master of her trade. Simply scrumptious breakfasts are served in the attractively decorated conservatory with its views out to the surrounding mountains. The living room made me feel completely at home—I could either curl up by the fire or simply relax in the luxurious surroundings. The ten guestrooms have canopied beds, fireplaces, flat screen televisions, spa tubs for two and, if you are visiting in the summer, air conditioning. All the rooms are great, but one of my favorites is wallpapered with a red-and-white print, has a gas fireplace with a small hooked rug in front, two comfortable chairs with a great reading light, a canopied bed, and a spa tub for two in the bathroom from which you can see the fireplace. There’s a porch out back with old wicker furniture and a painted board floor, perfect for a second cup of breakfast coffee and a peaceful reverie. Innkeepers Chris and Ted are pros and I am sure that staying with them in the Manchester area will make for memories that will bring you back often.
