The Villa

This part of Rhode Island is an overlooked stretch of coast with beautiful beaches just made for walking and squiggling your toes in the sand. On the shore road, just a short distance from these beaches, is The Villa, an inn of eight guestrooms where you can enjoy the gardens and the pool as much as the inn’s interiors. The inn’s living room is comfortably furnished and there is an adjoining dining area where guests have breakfast if they do not want to eat poolside or in their rooms. Guests select from a varied and changing menu the night before. Two of the bedrooms are located in a separate building looking down at the gardens and the pool. All guestrooms have a two person Jacuzzi. A hot tub provides the perfect evening relaxation if you like to stare at the stars from a steaming, relaxing cauldron of bubbles. The Villa is located in an area close to the quaint historic village of Watch Hill with its many shops and harbor activity. One of the remaining carousels in the country is found here and it provides a great opportunity to relive your youth. From here you can take excursions to Mystic Seaport, Newport, and Block Island. Barbara and Michael are gracious innkeepers and assure a memorable stay.
