Karen's Review Of This Property:
Nestled on the vast protected acreage of the Crane Estate, this handsome inn looks out over salt marshes and sand dunes to the distant Atlantic. The inn enjoys a lovely entry off a wraparound porch, warmed by a welcoming fire. Off the entry to one side is the guest parlor and in the oldest part of the house is the inn’s beautiful dining room whose bright, fresh decor of blues, creams, and whites is a perfect complement at breakfast to the morning light. With the exception of one room off the lobby, guestrooms, all unique in decor, are found at the top of the handsome staircase. On the first floor are two of the inn’s most dramatic rooms with stunning views of the marsh and ocean. Cornelius, whose subtle decor of soft beiges and whites was selected so as not to compete with the view out of one entire wall of windows, and the very pretty and inviting Miné with its wood-burning fireplace, sweet floral decor, and windows that look up to the wooded hillside. A full breakfast is included in the rate.
