Lake Pointe Inn Sketch

Karen's Review Of This Property:

Indeed, there is something magical about Lake Pointe Inn. The setting, at the edge of a lake with distant views, is romantic; there’s a long porch with green rockers where you could spend hours just daydreaming; there are canoes waiting to be used; trails expectantly waiting for footsteps; and there’s a ski slope just out the front. The living room of Lake Pointe is decorated in the Arts and Crafts style of the house itself and this makes for an exceptionally warm and welcoming greeting as you stand with your back to the large stone fireplace. There are two dining rooms set for breakfast, with views of the lake and pine trees blowing in the wind. The inn has a total of ten bedrooms, of which two are suites. Each guestroom has a private bathroom and seven are equipped with two-person jetted tubs, some with steam showers. Nine bedrooms have gas fireplaces. To enjoy the beauty of the setting, ask for one of the three rooms with a balcony overlooking the lake. The Lake Pointe Inn serves a full breakfast and buttermilk pancakes are a specialty. We arrived to the smell of spiced cider and chocolate chip cookies in the oven—touches that make this inn speak softly but with a loud message.
