Karen's Review Of This Property:
The 1908 William Page Inn is recommended for its location, accommodations, and especially for its genial host, Robert, one of Annapolis’ first innkeepers. He is still ever-present to welcome guests, help plan explorations of the city and beyond, and even cook and serve breakfast! This cedar shingle inn is conveniently located just a few blocks equal distance from the Naval Academy, the State House and the Waterfront. Upon arrival park your car; the city can be explored on foot. Climb the wrap-around porch to the front door. Just off the hall entry you will find the common room, which is also referred to as the “guest parlor”. In the morning an extensive continental breakfast is offered here over a leisurely time-span to accommodate guests’ agenda. Guests also relax here in the afternoon and enjoy complimentary refreshments. One of the bright and cheerful guest rooms, Fern, is accessed off the wrap-around porch. Climb the hall staircase to discover the other four bedrooms. Sharing the second floor are Wilbur and Charlotte (they share a hall bath), and Templeton, the inn’s smallest room. On its own on the third floor under the eaves and looking out through dormer windows is the very popular Marilyn Suite. Definitely the most private and spacious, its bedroom accommodates a queen sleigh bed and the sitting room features a queen sofa bed and the only private television in the inn.
