Casa Velas

The lavish, Moroccan-style Casa Velas is located within Marina Vallarta, a beautiful Marina development close to the airport. Though it primarily appeals to those looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, just minutes away are Puerto Vallarta’s wonderful restaurants and nightlife. An 18-hole golf course drapes itself around the hotel, providing privacy and solitude. The hotel’s enclosed lobby features tropical plants and pleasant seating arrangements, and adjoining it in the rear is a sitting area—the lobby bar, overlooking the swimming pool. The pool area is the highlight of the hotel: it is surrounded by lush gardens and tall, majestic palms and is set with very comfortable lounge chairs and white-canopied tents that offer shade from the tropical sun. Next to the pool is the gourmet Emiliano Restaurant, which serves wonderful blends of Mexican and international cuisine.
