Casa Natalia

For a charming, intimate hotel in the heart of San José del Cabo, you can do no better than Casa Natalia, which boasts a restaurant so outstanding that guests from many of the super-exclusive resorts nearby come here to dine. The hotel is owned by Nathalie and Loic Tenoux, from Luxembourg and France respectively, who combine the colorful ambiance of Mexico with the quiet elegance of Europe in their small inn. From the street you see a simple, squarish, beige-colored building and it is not until you step inside that the appeal of the hotel is revealed. After passing through the foyer, you come to a small sitting area to the left with white slipcovered sofas splashed with color by brightly embroidered pillows and colorful ceramics set on simple wooden tables. A shuttle is available to the Beach Club, their beachfront restaurant, and pool. Guestrooms are in several buildings forming one side of a walled garden, which features an especially attractive half-circle swimming pool embraced by tall palm trees. All of the individually decorated bedrooms exude a charming Mexican ambiance with loomed fabrics, embroidered pillows, hand-crafted wooden furniture, hand-carved sconces or lamps, original artwork, and luxurious amenities. No detail has been overlooked to pamper guests. All of the guestrooms have balconies with hammocks and the two suites have Jacuzzi tubs.
