Dear Karen, I would very much like to highlight a delightful discovery I made this summer. My husband and I traveled from Singapore to Verona with our two kids this summer to celebrate his 40th birthday. We had a wonderful time at Verona House and our kids loved it. The hotel is very child friendly (which is not so common in Italy as compared to Asia) and the owner, Lillina, is a very stylish and helpful person. She assisted us in getting opera tickets, dinner reservations, and even recommended where I could find Etro clothes and Frette bedlinens. It's in an extraordinary location, right in the center of this gorgeous medieval town and next to the Castelvecchio bridge (where Dante stayed as a guest when in exile). The kids loved the many ice cream shops right outside the hotel and my husband and I loved its quiet, charming atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back! Dear Karen,
Over the last 12 years, my family has stayed four times at the La Residenza Verona House. The Verona House was first recommended to us by friends who live in Verona when we were looking for a place to stay with a young child. The Verona House was ideal for so many reasons. First and foremost, it afforded 2 important home-like ammenities: a small, but very functional kitchen and a living area separate from the bedroom.
