Villa Abbazia

Nestled in a small village in the foothills of the Alps, you’ll find one of our favorite hotels, the very special Villa Abbazia, situated across from a picturesque 12th-century abbey. When you enter into the 17th-century palazzo—which is graced by fine antiques, Oriental carpets, lovely fabrics, and bouquets of fresh flowers—the Zanon family welcomes you as if you were a friend in their own home. All of the palazzo’s bedrooms and suites are stunning. Each guestroom has been splendidly decorated and exudes the ambiance of an English country manor. Meticulous care and tender love have gone into every tiny detail, including the fresh flowers and individual breakfast china, which reflects the color scheme of each room. In addition to the bedrooms in the Palazzo, there are four beautiful suites in the magnificently restored 19th-century, Liberty-style villa across the garden. The Abbazia is surrounded by excellent places to dine, including its own restaurant, La Corte, where one can find delicious foods typical of the region in a pleasant and intimate environment. The Villa Abbazia is located in a region rich in medieval villages and Palladian villas, most appealing for lovers of art and architecture. The historic towns of Asolo and Vittorio Veneto are nearby.
