I Capricci di Merion

Hello Karen Brown and staff, My husband Ivan, who is an Airline Captain for Continental Airlines, and I have stayed at many of your suggested properties for at least 8 years. I carry your book with us on trips and follow many of your itineraries. We have maintained a lovely friendship with a a young couple in Tuscany near Cortona..the wife Bianca worked at Villa di Piazzano several years ago and I took an immediate liking to her when we stayed there. We returned twice and came back with my son and his girlfriend. This time Bianca suggested this property for us to stay...I Capricci di Merion. She knew this was just my style. A beautiful property in a stunning location..right near Lake Trasimeno with many good restaurants. Osteria Rossa di Sera is a wonderful fish restaurant with a romantic atmosphere. Antica Residenza, I Capricci di Merion, is owned by a lovely couple, Arianna and Stefano and their precious 4 year old daughter! The entire staff; front desk, restaurant, housekeeping, couldn’t be nicer and more accommodating. We enjoyed a lovely lunch while they prepared our room upon our early arrival. They even took the time to show me 3 available rooms for me to choose from. All rooms with a different decor and personality and very clean with nice linens. If they didn’t have something they would get it for you. We were so comfortable with this warm and inviting family in their small villa. In addition, they have a beautiful outdoor pool surrounded by the hills of Tuscany and an indoor spa with facilities. Free Wi-Fi, TV, A/C, nice linens, balconies, restaurant with breakfast included in room rate. Also, the rates are very reasonable. My husband actually hesitated about me sending this message for fear of it becoming too popular with the US market but I feel "do good things for others and it will come back at you!!" I showed them your book and they probably send you an email as well. We hope to return in October so we can go to the Chocolate Festival in Perugia that they told us about. If it involves chocolate, I’m there!...I heard it was fabulous. I hope in the near future you will visit this property as I feel it is certainly worthy of Karen Brown’s standards.
