L’Olmo

Nestled in the tranquil Tuscan countryside between two enchanting hilltop villages (Pienza and Monticchiello) is another jewel, L’Olmo. You cannot help instantly losing your heart to this very special little hotel. It has the warmth and intimacy of a bed and breakfast, yet the service and amenities rival those of the finest deluxe hotel. This bit of paradise is owned by the Lindo family. A few years ago they left the bustling city of Turin and bought a beautiful 16th-century stone house, which they lovingly restored to perfection, down to the smallest detail, preserving original terracotta floors and wood-beamed ceilings. With superb taste and guests’ comfort in mind, three suites were created and appointed with antique chests, locally made wrought-iron beds, and pretty floral fabrics for color. Each has its own travertine marble bathroom, two have a private garden with sitting and solarium area and one has a private terrace. Francesca and her mother Loredana, your exceptionally charming hostesses, tend to guests in a warm and highly professional manner. Downstairs are two cozy sitting rooms leading out to the stone courtyard with tables and flower pots. A full buffet breakfast or gourmet candlelit dinner—upon request—is served in the luminous dining room. Lunch and dinner are also served in the romantic garden pergola. WiFi is available throughout the entire house.
