This property was disappointing and did not live up to it’s billing in Karen Brown. The service was slow, grounds were poorly maintained and dinner on the site is not available as advertised and, according to the owner, has not been for three years. Another property close by does offer dinner, however on one night it was booked full, requiring a minimum 15 minute drive into Castalina in Chianti on a hilly, winding and somewhat treacherous road while driving at night.

It has always been our policy to make our guests feel relaxed and at home and this is the way it has always been

3)Grounds poorly maintained...... It is quite understandable that in August after a period of 5 months without rain that the grounds and surroundings were not looking as fresh and beautiful as they normally do during the rest of the season, would advise to visit in May or June.

4) Dinner not available.......As written on our website Dinner is only available on previous requests on bookings, and for a minimum of 6 pax, we always make reservations for our guests in nearby restaurants

5) Property close by booked full........We cannot vouch for other properties.

6) We are situated in the heart of Chianti Classico surrounded by olives,vineyards and WINDING ROADS, this is the beauty of Tuscany
