Apart from offering a tasteful interior and a warm atmosphere Zora & Franz make you immediately feel home. It is a great place for wine lovers as Franz serves not only good food, but also a fantastic collection of top etna wines from excellent wine producers. They also offer wine tasting, wine classes and winery visits. Great place for wine aficionados and people who enjoy good food.

We recently visited spent a week in Sicily and I have to say the two nights we spent with Franz and Zora at Palmento La Rosa were the highlight of our trip, probably because they made us feel so welcome. Our room was huge and very tastefully decorated. Dinner was absolutely delicious and all the better for being accompanied by anecdotes from our hosts experiences of living in Sicily. Our room was huge and very tastefully decorated. Dinner was absolutely delicious and all the better for being accompanied by anecdotes from our hosts experiences of living in Sicily. We had some lovely wines and chatted until late. The next morning the sun was shining so breakfast was served on the terrace surrounded by lemon and olive trees. After returning from walking up the volcano we arrived back to tea and treats, nothing seemed too much trouble.
