I once asked my well traveled aunt, the late Patricia Kennedy, as to the best place she had ever visited in the world. Her immediate response was the Belvedere Argegno on Lake Como which she explained was a firm favourite of the Melbourne legal fraternity. My wife Bronwyn Lane and I first went to Belvedere in 1987 and now we return in May 2012 for the ’25th anniversary’ and 8th visit (87,95,99,03,06,08,09 and 12)! What a wonderful place!!!!!! The Albergo Villa Belvedere is the Hotel you dreamed of, when thinking of a perfect situated romantic Hotel with a charming Restaurant settled directly at the lake site of the Lario. The owner family gave us a very outstanding example of lived hospitality: We arrived the Hotel after our trip to Zermatt/Switzerland with carnproblems.
