La Meridiana Relais & Chateaux

The gracious Segre family warmly welcomes guests to their elegant country home/hotel located on the upper half of the Riviera north of Genoa. The property is immersed in the soft green landscapes and right next door to one of Italy’s most popular golf courses. From the main gate up the lane on the left-hand side is an inviting pool while the entrance to the inn with its large front window sits to the right. Most of the 28 guestrooms with balconies are within the new three-story wing attached to the main house and overlook the surrounding gardens and golf course. Guestrooms and the many common rooms including large living room and breakfast room, are appointed with crisp floral fabrics and accented with antiques and paintings. Dogs are welcome to stay in the guestrooms on the garden level. Guests can dine at one of the hotel’s three restaurants. Il Rosmarino is a gourmet restaurant which combines fresh local produce with regional seafood recipes, accompanied by a vast selection of wines. Il Bistrot offers the best Ligurian cuisine and La Piscina is a casual pool-side restaurant open for lunch. Excursions in the area include the more undiscovered coastline going towards the French border, as well as Genoa and its newly developed pier area with aquarium and restaurants, or the classic Riviera with highlights such as enchanting Portofino.
