Hotel Punta Est

The Punta Est is a delightful villa perched on a hilltop overlooking the sea. When the home was converted to a hotel, an annex was added to provide more bedrooms, but it still radiates the friendly ambiance of a private home. This warmth of reception and attention to detail are the result of the management of the gracious Podestà family who own and personally manage the inn. They seem dedicated to making your stay as enjoyable as possible. This small hotel is constantly being maintained with loving care. Every time we visit the property has been upgraded, the latest addition being a wellness area in the nature cave. There are little terraces with lovely views snuggled at various levels among the trees and on one of these terraces is a swimming pool. There is also access to the public beach, which can easily be reached by walking down the path to the main highway and following the tunnel beneath the highway to the beach. The rooms in the main villa are smaller and more old fashioned than those in the newer annex, which are more reminiscent of an American motel. Meals are served daily in the hotel’s restaurant, which also has outdoor seating in front of the sea. The hotel is located east of Finale Ligure, just before the tunnel.
