Hotel Villa Franca

The Villa Franca, with a commanding position overlooking the sea, is one of Positano’s classic villas transformed into a well-priced hotel. The management is extremely friendly and there is an immediate warmth and charm as soon as you walk into the redesigned and redecorated villa. The Russo family wanted to create an attractive full-service hotel combined with the friendliness and service of a small inn, and it is just that. The fresh Mediterranean decor is most appealing, with royal-blue slipcovered armchairs, a profusion of plants, lacquered terracotta vases, white-tiled floors and walls, and arched windows everywhere, so that you don’t miss the mesmerizing views of the sea for a second. The two restaurants, one by the pool and the other by the bar, serve excellent local cuisine. The bedrooms follow the same cheerful theme with colorful ceramic-tiled floors, cream bedspreads with green-and-yellow-striped trim and exquisite views. On the rooftop is a swimming pool with a 360-degree view over the world’s most beautiful coastline. Guests also enjoy a sauna, massage room, and solarium.
