Alpenhotel Zechmeisterlehen

The Alpenhotel Zechmeisterlehen is the most delightful resort situated in a picturesque Alpine meadow, superbly convenient for Berchtesgaden and the Königssee, but wonderfully removed from the bustle and crowds. Chock-full of amenities (indoor and outdoor pools, health spa, children’s playroom, conference rooms, several dining rooms), the hotel is popular with individuals as well as groups. Heidi and Siefried Angerer have maintained an Alpine ambiance, with lots of pine paneling and wooden balconies draped in summer with a profusion of red geraniums, and have embellished the interior decor with lots of trinkets and ornaments. Every bedroom has a view across a vast meadow dotted with picture-postcard chalets to distant towering mountains. Rooms come in all shapes and sizes, including a small double, a spacious junior suite with a low partition dividing the bedroom from the sitting area, non-smoking rooms, and an apartment with separate sitting room and a bedroom for the children.
