Les Roches Fleuries

Les Roches Fleuries is nestled in a green meadow high on a mountainside with a breathtaking view across the valley to the dramatic peaks of Mont Blanc. Like most of the buildings that dot the countryside, the hotel is like a large chalet, wrapped around with decks and balconies which in summer are one solid mass of brilliant red geraniums. The country theme continues inside, with walls paneled in light pine, rustic-style furnishings, and Provençal-print fabrics used throughout. There is a fresh, uncluttered, sunny ambiance, with light streaming in through large windows. The dining room is especially gorgeous: it has a wall of windows (draped in a beautiful red provençal-print fabric) capturing a stunning panorama of the mountains. There is a second, less formal dining room, La Boite aux Fromages, in an adorable rustic chalet next to the main part of the hotel. The bedrooms are decorated in light pine accented by pretty country-print fabrics and are grouped in four categories based on size and color scheme. Suites come in two categories—either with or without mezzanine. The hills beckon and walking seems to be the favorite pastime, but there is also a pool in the garden behind the hotel as well as exercise equipment, Turkish baths, and a Jacuzzi.
