Karen's Review Of This Property:
Le Cottage is nestled near the shore of Lake Annecy in Talloires, a beautiful lakefront village. An attractive hotel, Le Cottage offers comfortable accommodations and a warm welcome, and is professionally managed by Christine and Jean Claude Bise. At Le Cottage, Jean Claude is definitely and most impressively ever-present and actively involved, doing everything at an enthusiastic and accelerated pace. Accommodation is offered in three separate clustering cottages (Le Cottage, Bourdière, and the Santa Maria) in more than 20 different categories: room with lake view, room with garden view, room with terrace, room with balcony, etc. All the rooms we saw were lovely in their appointments and a few had exceptional water views. The best lake-view rooms are found in Le Cottage and Santa Maria (my favorite was number 56, a lovely corner room under the eaves with windows on two sides overlooking the gorgeous water). The reception, a guest salon and bar, a lovely restaurant with tables overflowing to a shaded outdoor terrace, lounge, outside bar, swimming pool and new Jacuzzi facing the lake are all located at Le Cottage, which has the most elegant public rooms and antiques.
