Abbaye de Talloires

On the traces of the ancient Roman road near Annecy, nestles a dwelling full of history and secrets: Abbaye de Talloires, built by the Benedictine monks in the 17th century. The front of this splendid abbey, where one comes to resource as once Cézanne did and as Jean Reno does nowadays, reflects in the waters of Lake Annecy, accessible to guests via private pontoon. The superb rooms furnished in Empire style are spread around the cloister. Private rooms are cosy, terraces delightful and nice re-looked classical cuisine is best enjoyed in the old monks' refectory appreciated already by the Dukes of Savoy. Abbaye de Talloires was awarded the 1st place at 2009 Trophy of the Clientele of 4* and 5* Hotels for the quality of service.
