Karen's Review Of This Property:

Lucille and Jacques Bon welcome you to their 17th-century farmstead in the Camargue. Jacques’ family were farmers who worked the rice fields of this windswept land with its stretches of marsh and wild horses, and he is passionate about the region. The Bons’ home is covered with vines, shaded by trellises of grapes and wisteria, and decorated by tiled planters overflowing with geraniums. How fortunate that they have restored a wing of their 17th-century mas (farmhouse) into a luxurious inn. The guestrooms have rough, exposed, pine beams, and lovely old doors and windows incorporated into their new construction. The decor in their home marries old wood furniture with crisp white linens, giving a handsome, fresh look. Extremely gracious, Lucille is pretty and welcoming and Jacques is a handsome, friendly bull farmer with a large white mustache, tall and lean, hardened by years of work and riding. Cowboy, the family dog, is always by their side. Meals are served at just a few intimate tables in a large country kitchen in front of an open fireplace under 19th-century beams, or in summer on the garden terrace. Because the restaurant is very popular, reservations for either lunch or dinner are compulsory! Days are for swimming, horse riding, mountain biking, or visiting the rodeo with the magnificent Camargue bulls and horses.
